Things are changing!!!!

Hola everyone!! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday and is doing really well!!! 

Changes=transfers are today!! So basically we already know whats happening and Hermana Duncan is going to San Clemente and they're splitting this area in MV into North and South so Hermana Williams is going to North and is training a new sister and then I'm staying in South (we will still be in the same ward and district :D). I will for sure be companions with Hermana Roos who was Hermana Duncan's trainer(she's been here for 18 months but is doing a 4 week extension and I'm so excited because I love her). Side note: some people call trainers "moms" so basically my grandma is going to be my mom so that's weird! And mayybbeee another sister who is currently in English work but is from Guatemala. So we'll see what happens today! I just know that whatever happens is what Heavenly Father knows is best for me and for the people! I'm just happy I didn't have to pack up and move my stuff! hahaha

Margarita(the adorable lady who just got baptized) is doing amazing! She got confirmed on Sunday and she just looked so happy!! We also took her on a tour around the outside of the temple and taught her about baptisms and work for the dead and she just kept saying "interesante!" but we could tell that she wants to know its true she just needs to process it all. Both of her parents passed away so the thought of her helping her family feel the joy she feels I think is very special to her. Shes amazing. AH I JUST LOVE HER SO MUCH. A couple of lessons ago I told her I wanted to be like her and she just went "OH!" and gave me a huge hug! She's adorable. 

I am still loving this life that I'm living right now! I absolutely love this ward and the people I get to teach!!! I know that this Gospel is true. I know that through this Gospel we can be happier than we can ever imagine because I am SO SO SO happy because I am the closest I have ever been to my Heavenly Father. I love Him so much and I know that He perfectly loves all you as well.

:D - my face all this week!!!!

Hola amigos y familia!!!!! Espero que todos tenian una semana muy muy marviosa! 

Hello friends and family!! I hope that all had a very very marvelous week!! 

I know I did!!!!!! Seriously I don't think I've stopped smiling this whole week!! It was so incredibly stressful because we had to make sure Margarita was ready for her baptism and figure out all the details for the baptism but it still was an amazing week!!  

EXCHANGE/SAN CLEMENTE

 I went on an exchange with Hermana Roos and Hermana Carmack (serving in the other area in San Clemente) on Wednesday and it was an amazing day! At the end of our exchange we met down in San Clemente and I got to see the San Clemente apartment and I was amazed because I have been to San Clemente before and my extended family has a camp-out on a beach every summer. So it was amazing to just look out at the view of the ocean(though it was dark) and that I have seen that very same coast before but now it means so much more because at some point I'll get to help my spiritual family members that call that place home come unto Christ and feel the happiness I feel when I look out at that view of all Heavenly Father has given me! It was a very little but very spiritual experience!

MARGARITAS BAPTISM

BEST DAY EVER!! We were all sort of sick from food we had @ an activity the night before with the ward and it was a little rough but the whole day I was so excited it didnt matter!!! It was absolutely fantastic! All the Hermanas sang "Come Unto Christ" a Spanglish version and Margarita got kind of emotional during the song and it was cool to see her feel the Spirit! Then she was baptized!!! I couldn't stop smiling because I knew that her life is going to change so much for the better and that she is so happy! She bore a beautiful testimony and I just had tears in my eyes because she knows of Gods love for her and AH I just love her so much!!! I dont think I will ever forget that experience!!! 

Such an amazing week and I am so happy here!!!! I love you all soooo much and am so grateful for you all!!!!

P.S. Next week the Library is closed on Monday so I will be emaling on TUESDAY!!! So don't worry!!!

DIA DE LAS MADRES Y OTRAS COSAS

FIESTA PARA LAS MADRES

Our ward had a party for Mothers Day on Saturday and it was sooooooo fun!!!!!!!!! The food was so good! There was horchatta (probably butchered that spelling but it's rice milk with cinnamon and I love it so much) and the Elders in our district helped make all the chicken and the horchatta and it was delicious!!! People got up and sang spanish songs about mothers and they were so awesome!! Then people got up and started dancing at the end and it was sooo fantastic to watch!! hahahah I love our ward so much!!! 

MOTHERS DAY SKYPE!!!

Well yesterday was the best day ever because I got to skype my family!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved seeing their faces and getting to talk to them!!! It was especially amazing to talk to my mom on dia de las madres!! She is so amazing and it was so fun to get to see her and talk to her and tell her happy mothers day!!!! My family is the absolute best ever!!! I love them so much!!! 

ABE LINCOLN

So if nobody has figured it out yet I LOVE ABE LINCOLN. So I had a little time to be on lds.org the other day while my companion needed to plan a Sister Training Leader thingy. So after reading a couple talks and things I thought "Hm I wonder what would happen if I searched Abraham Lincoln" So I did and I found a talk from the October 1976 (200 years after the year of our country's freedom I might add for extra coolness)  titled "The Savor of Men" by Mark E Peterson. The whole talk isn't solely about Lincoln but he uses a lot of quotes from him to base his talk off of and it's sooooo cool!!! It's a very, very awesome talk (besides the fact it talks about my favorite US president)!!!! 

MARGARITA IS GETTING BAPTIZED IN LESS THAN A WEEK

So our investigator Margarita is being baptized on Sunday!!! I could not be more happy for her!!! She has such a desire to be baptized and has a very strong testimony of the Gospel! Everything we teach her she is so receptive to and she is such a wonderful person! Ah I just love her so much!!!! 

NEW INVESTIGATOR...BUT THERES A CATCH

So we have a new investigator and her name is Glenda and she has been taught by missionaries before and at the end of our first lesson which went really well, I asked her to be baptized(exciting for me) but she said that she wants to (very exciting for me!) but that she cant because she lives with her boyfriend and they aren't married and there's a rule about that because that doesn't follow church standards (not super exciting for me) hahaha BUT I'm still very very excited to visit with her because she has a desire for her and herself to follow what Heavenly Father wants her to do. 

So basically like every week I love this area, I love everyone I teach, and I love all of you so much!!! Have a wonderful week!!!!

I've been on a mission for two months????

Today is my two month mark!!!!!!! I can't believe it's already been two months!!! I just love this work and I am the happiest I have ever been in my life!! It's just so amazing!

And once again I have run out of time!! 

But this week was amazing as usual and a lot of work but I feel so much happiness and joy!!!! 

Our investigator Margarita is getting baptized on the 17th and I couldn't be more excited for her! Our other investigator Yasmin came to church! She and her mom(whos a member and she is soooooooo awesome) came and it was a fun surprise! 

We taught a lot of less actives this week and they all are so receptive of us and everyone in general is just so kind!!!!

We had a service project in San Clemente so it was crazy to be near where our family goes every summer!!!! 

IM SO EXCITED TO SKYPE THE FAM!!! I know whos house we're going to but I'm not sure how it will work yet. I think I will be using skype but I have no idea what my account is so that would be awesome if one of you guys could set one up of find one and then I should be able to call you before and figure out what to do! 

Mom!!!! HAPPY EARLY MOTHERS DAY!!!!!! Im so excited to talk to you and see you and wish you happy mothers day!!! You are the most amazing mom in the whole world!!! I love you sooooo much!!!
